Mapping the Mulberry

Mapping the Mulberry  is a small project started in lockdown to find the locations of existing mulberry trees in the area and map them with any information on their history. With Sudbury producing 95% of the UK's silk, mulberry tree planting was significant in this area. The trees have been plotted on the map below, but if you know of any further trees please do get in touch so that they can be added too, after a visit to record them.
